Pemilihan Duta Bahasa Provinsi Jawa Barat

akan mengadakan kembali kegiatan Pemilihan Duta Bahasa Provinsi Jawa Barat.
Duta-duta bahasa yang terpilih itu nantinya akan menjadi utusan resmi dari
Provinsi Jawa Barat untuk mengikuti Pemilihan Duta Bahasa Tingkat Nasional 2009
di Pusat Bahasa, Jakarta.

Kami mencari tunas muda yang mampu berbahasa Indonesia, berbahasa daerah, dan
berbahasa asing secara proporsional; untuk menjadi duta pemasyarakatan bahasa
Indonesia. Andakah orangnya?

Pendaftar harus memenuhi persyaratan sebagai berikut:

a) berusia 18-25 tahun;

b) berpendidikan minimal SLTA;

c) memiliki kemampuan berbahasa Indonesia, menguasai salah satu bahasa daerah,
dan salah satu bahasa asing;

d) mempunyai pengetahuan tentang Jawa Barat;

e) berpenampilan menarik;

f) menyerahkan fotokopi KTP dan pas foto ukuran kartu pos satu lembar.

g) membayar biaya pendaftaran sebesar Rp 15.000, (bonus kartu perdana Three).

Dalam penilaian, panitia penyelenggara kegiatan Pemilihan Duta Bahasa
Provinsi Jawa Barat Tahun 2009 menentukan seleksi dilakukan dalam tiga tahap,
yaitu:

1. Babak Penyisihan

a. Tes Uji Kemahiran Berbahasa Indonesia (UKBI)

b. Menjawab pertanyaan dalam bahasa daerah, Indonesia, dan asing

2. Babak Semifinal

a. Penilaian kepribadian peserta yang meliputi kedisiplinan, keaktifan,
kesopanan, kerapihan, dan kepemimpinan

b. Pengisian angket yang berkaitan dengan materi ceramah

c. Penyuluhan kebahasaan

3. Babak Final

a. Membuat makalah

b. Mempresentasikan makalah

c. Menjawab pertanyaan dalam bahasa daerah, Indonesia, dan asing

Babak penyisihan akan dilaksanakan tanggal 13-14 Juli 2009, babak semifinal
akan dilaksanakan tanggal 15-18 Juli 2009, dan babak final akan dilaksanakan
tanggal 14-15 Agustus 2009, di Aula Balai Bahasa Bandung.

ASEAN Scholarships for Indonesia

Application period for the 2010 ASEAN Scholarships for Indonesia will be open from 6 June 2009 (9am Indonesia Time) to 15 July 2009 (10pm Indonesia Time).

The ASEAN Scholarships for Indonesia is tenable for 4 years leading to the award of the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education `Advanced' (GCE `A') Level (or equivalent) certificate.

The Scholarship is for studies in selected Singapore schools from Secondary Three to Pre-University Two and is renewed annually, subject to the satisfactory performance of the scholar.

Students from Indonesia are welcome to apply for the ASEAN Scholarships for Indonesia to enter Singapore schools at the Secondary Three level. Candidates who are not short-listed for the scholarships will be considered for the Merit Awards.

Eligibility
Students who meet the following criteria are invited to apply for the scholarship:

Nationals of Indonesia
Born between 1993 to 1995
Sat for 2009 SMP 3 National Final Evaluation Examination (UAN) and have done consistently well in school

Any dates given below are tentative and are subject to changes.

Award of Scholarship October 2009
Arrival of Scholar in Singapore 4 November 2009

Candidates short-listed for the selection test/interview will be notified a week before the selection test/interview dates. We regret that only short-listed candidates will be notified.

Terms and Conditions
Allowance of S$2,200 (Secondary) / S$2,400 (Pre-University) per annum with hostel accommodation
Settling-in allowance of S$400 (once only)
Economy class air passage to Singapore and back to home country upon completion of course
Waiver of school fees (excluding miscellaneous fees)
Waiver of GCE `O' and `A' Level examination fees (once only, if applicable)
Subsidised medical benefits and accident insurance cover
Bridging courses (if applicable, in Singapore before start of course)
There is no bond attached to the scholarship
